Unfortunately for logistical reasons Laughing Gravy have had to call it a day. Unicorn Ceilidhs owe a great debt of thanks to these guys who were instrumental (sorry, pun not intended!) in getting us to where we are today.
Named after a Laurel and Hardy film, Laughing Gravy were the 'house' band for Unicorn Ceilidhs. A front line of melodeon, fiddle and accordion backed by rhythm guitar and electric bass provided a great sound to dance to, and their repertoire was extensive. Some unusual tunes, and some old favourites combined to get you up and dancing before you knew it. How we'll miss them!
